Ms. Chin: Teacher of the Month for GGUSD

We are happy to announce that one of our fantastic Falcon teachers, Ms. Sayhleng Chin, has been named Garden Grove Unified School District's Certificated Employee of the Month! She received this well-deserved recognition during the District Board Meeting on April 15th.

Ms. Chin joined the district and our Falcon family in 2014 and teaches both English and Spanish here. She was nominated for this recognition by staff who shared that she has a passion for her work and a natural gift for making her classroom fun, engaging and supportive. She is loved by students who can see how hard she works and feel how much she cares about them and their growth, both academically and personally.  Students know they can go to her for empathy and understanding. It’s clear to all who know her that she has excellent instructional strategies, a heart for students and she is committed to supporting students’  growth every step of the way.

Fitz Intermediate is truly fortunate to have Miss Chin on our campus, making a meaningful impact on both students and staff. Congratulations, Ms. Chin — your Falcon family celebrates you!
